Plant hormones are types of key signaling biomolecules that act at lower concentrations to regulate numerous aspects of plant growth and development and can induce proteinase inhibitor proteins.Development of a method for simultaneous analysis of multiple classes of plant hormones is critically important for understanding the hormone crosstalk and networks in controlling development or defence responses.Since plant hormones are present and active at trace amounts, the determination of phytohormone concentrations in plants is extremely challenging, since many plant hormones have similar structures, exist with a wide range of abundant matrices that interfere with the final assay and, moreover, occur in extremely low concentrations levels.Therefore, the analytical method used for plant hormones requires an efficient extraction procedure and high sensitive and selective analytical system.
