A five-year breeding project involving HPLUS (GP and PS),Champagne Rabbit and Taishan White Rabbit was carried out to produce two maternal lines (KD Ⅰ and KD Ⅱ ) and three paternal lines (KD Ⅲ,KD Ⅳ and KD Ⅴ ) in Shandong Province,China.Another two pure rabbit breed Californian Rabbit (CAR) and New Zealand White Rabbit (NZW) were selected at same time as candidate lines.
