Texture evolution of Fe-6.5 wt.%Si sheets during cold rolling and recrystallization was investigated using macro-/micro-texture analyses.90 mm wide and 0.28 mm thick cold rolled Fe-6.5 wt.%Si sheets were successfully fabricated by controlled hot rolling, warm rolling and cold rolling process. The cold rolling reduction severely affects the texture components of the sheet surface.Surface textures of the final cold rolled sheet with a sandwich-like structure are {100}<110>,η-and γ-fiber textures. With annealing of 1000 ℃ for 1.5 h,abundance of abnormal grown grains exhibit η-fiber orientation, which can be attributed to the sandwich structure of sheets with large orientation gradient and large density gradient of dislocation across the thickness section.
