本文研究了饥饿五天及饱食大鼠催乳素由循环血中清除的速率。静脉注入放射性碘标记的鼠催乳素后10、30及60分钟,分别测定血中残留的总放射性及可被特异催乳素抗血清沉淀的放射性。两组鼠血中这些放射性消失的速率是一致的,这进一步表明急性饥饿时使血中催乳素减少的主要因素是垂体分泌催乳素不足,而不是催乳素在外周降解、清除的增强。
In this paper, we studied the rate of prolactin depletion in circulating blood five days and starved rats. The total radioactivity remaining in the blood and the radioactivity that could be precipitated by the specific prolactin antiserum were measured at 10, 30 and 60 minutes after intravenous injection of radioiodinated mouse prolactin. The rate of these radioactive disappearances in both groups was consistent, suggesting further that the main cause of hypoproteinemia in acute hunger is the lack of prolactin secretion in the pituitary gland rather than the degradation and clearance of prolactin in the periphery.
