Measuring of mechanical properties of agricultural materials is essential for designing and developing harvesting and post harvesting machines.In this research,in order to determine the mechanical strength of cumin seed,the force and energy required to fracture cumin seed were measured under quasi static forces.Also,the four parameters of moisture content,seed size,speed and direction of loading were measured for each case.
