The structural health status of offshore wind power platform is vital to the safe operation of offshore wind power project.The distributed fiber optic sensing(DFOS)techniques have unique advantages in the structural health monitoring and detecting field.Taking a engineering case as example,this paper introduces the basic principles of the techniques,and designs a detecting scheme of offshore wind platform based on DFOS techniques to realize the distributed and precise detection of the internal force in ultra-long steel pipe piles.The result shows the superiority and promising prospects of fiber optic sensing techniques in health condition monitoring of offshore wind power platform.
