Challenging issues, such as slow oxidation kinetics of methanol and toxic effects caused by the byproducts(mainly CO),are still the major obstacles to the large-scale commercialization of direct methanol fuel cells[1].To solve these problems, the design and synthesis of advanced catalyst materials is an effective strategy. In view of this,a three-dimensional porous boron nitrogen codoped graphene aerogel supported palladium catalysts(Pd/BN-GA)was designed and synthesized by using a simple and economical method(Figure 1).It is found that the new catalyst exhibits excellent electrocatalytic performance for methanol oxidation.
