The combination of polymer and nanoparticles offers new pathways for advanced materials with attractive electrical, optical, thermal, or mechanical properties.Among these materials,"polynanomer", which is a one-dimensional ensemble of nanoparticles, represents a new member of polymer family [1].The nanoparticles can be viewed as monomers, so be called "nanomers".Polynanomer hosts new collective properties, such as surface plasmon, exciton,and magnetic coupling, which are attributed to the strong interactions between the nanoparticles in close proximity [2,3].
