Superhydrophobic surfaces are often found in nature,such as plant leaves and insect wings.Inspired by superhydrophobic phenomenon,a facile approach to produce superhydrophilic and superhydrophobic coating surfaces was studied in this paper.The superhydrophilic surface was prepared by coating poly(vinyl alcohol)solution on cover glasses and then dipping SiO2 nanoparticles suspension on the coating.
