Sedum alfredii Hance,a Cd/Zn/Pb co-hyperaccumulating species of Crassulaceae was first found in China,is considered to be as a promising phytoremediation candidate accumulating substantial heavy metal ions without obvious signs of poisoning.Heat shock transcription factor family(Hsfs)plays crucial roles in plant growth, developmental as well as stress responses.Currently, there have been many reports on this family genes in plant responses to abiotic stress, but little is known about the Hsf family in Sedum alfredii Hance.
