Background: Studies that reported the association between maternal 25-hydroxyvitamin D[25(OH)D]levels and pregnancy outcomes have been conflicting. Methods: In this nested case-control study,we measured serum 25(OH)D in 4718 women who were attending second-and third-trimester screening in Nanjing,China.Logistic regression analysis was used to assess the association of 25(OH)D levels with gestational diabetes and other pregnancy outcomes.Meta-analysis and receiver-operator characteristic (ROC) curves were also conducted.
