　　The zinc oxide nanoparticles were synthesized in the presence and absence of multi walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) using a sonochemical technique.Zinc (Ⅱ) acetate and ethylene glycol are used as a precursor and solvent respectively in this synthesis of ZnO oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles.The synthesized hybrid ZnO/CNTs nanoparticles were further used as filler in nylon-6 polymer.These polymer nanocomposite (PNC) fibers were fabricated by single screw melt extrusion process.
