The territory of Junggar Alatau has a long history of development (from Precambrian to modern times).View at the history of the region and its metallogeny can be divided into several stages: geosynclinal, activation of the supercontinent, plate tectonics, geodynamic analysis.Due to the difference in views on the geological history of the region evolved, and understanding of its metallogenic features and perspectives.A common feature of all constructions is the notion about gradual belt change of geological formations over time and space: the older developed in Jungar-North Balkhash structural-formational areas, younger in South Dzungaria.Within our study area is divided into three structural and metallogenic provinces (North Junggar,Junggar, and Central and South Junggar) with 8 structural formational and metallogenic zones, which were formed in different geodynamic regimes that ultimately predetermined their specific metallogenic profile.North Junggar metallogenic province includes the structural-metallogenic zone: Alakol with two subzones (Emel and East Alakol),Tastau,Sarkand,Salkinbel.
