Commercial utilization of a superplasticizer is always a combination of price and performance.In last decades,petroleum-based polycarboxylate superplasticizers were able to replace lignosulphonate plasticizers with their superior performance, although lignosulphonate had the price advantage.Today, polycarboxylate based superplasticizer offers excellent method to plasticize concrete without affecting much of the other qualities of concrete.
