The volcano rabbit (Romerolagus diazi) is a rabbit endemic in Mexico,and typically exists on diets based on grass.Twenty three volcano rabbits (Romerolagus diazi) housed in captivity,with an initial weight of 544 ± 79.8 g,were used to study the effect of the dietary level of the grass Muhlenbergia macroura on intake,digestibility and weight change.
