　　Objective:The orchiectomized (ORX) and ovariectomized (OVX) rat models are used to investigate sex hormone deficiency related osteoporosis.In this study,the peripheral and central parts of lumbar vertebral body bone mineral density (BMD) data from OVX and ORX rats were analyzed for their disparate BMD loss after the surgery.
