For outstanding mechanical properties, the amorphous materials attracted the interests of scientists all over the world in recent years.Compared to corresponding crystalline alloys, the strength, hardness and corrosion resistant property of amorphous alloys have remarkable advantages. But the research on the tensile properties of amorphous alloy is still insufficient, especially the mechanical properties of amorphous strips at cryogenic temperature. This experiment mainly studied the deformation behavior of amorphous strips at cryogenic temperature, especially in 77K.This experiment is mainly to observe the fracture morphology of the amorphous strips. As comparison,we also observe the tensile fracture morphology of amorphous strips at room temperature.By comparing results we found that the fracture morphology of amorphous strips at room temperature and the fracture morphology at 77k temperature is different. The fracture morphology of amorphous strip after tensile test at room temperature is mainly dendritic. However, the fracture morphology of amorphous strips after tensile test at 77K shows predominant river pattern.
