  Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber is one of especially promising reinforcing fibers due to its light weight,high tensile strength and high modulus value.It has been used in various applications[1].However,as known,UHMWPE comprised by-CH2-CH2-group symmetrically is a non-polar polymer.This non-polar structure makes the fiber surface inert and difficult to obtain strong interaction with polar resin matrix,which significantly limits its applications.In order to enhance the interfacial adhesion between the fiber and resin matrix the surface modification to improve the surface energy Is indispensible,and various methods have been performed,such as plasma treatment,corona discharge,UV-initiated grafting,and chemical oxidative methods[2].
