　　The influence of an additive (Dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid-DBSA) on residue hydrotreating was studied in an autoclave.The results showed that the additive has stabilization effects on the colloid system of residue,which may delay the aggregation and coke formation of asphaltene on the catalyst,and cause heavy components to transform into light oil.
