　　Buckling is one type of unstable structural response which has been known for centuries.Although buckling is generally regarded as a negative behavior,it has been reported that this undesirable phenomenon could be utilized to generate buckling-induced metamaterials and structures with negative Poissons ratio.Recent studies demonstrated that buckling-induced auxetic behavior would disappear when the base material was changed from elastomer to metal.
