  Microalgae have been shown to have bioactivites.Some species have been cultured and commercialized with health claims based on their contents of protein,Chlorella growth factor,chlorophyll,sporopollenin and chlorellin.More science-based evidences are still needed for the health claims.The objectives of this study were aimed on the lipids including the saponifiable and nonsaponifiable fractions of the freshwater cultured chlorella.
