Mesoprous silica is a porous material which has pores with diameter of 2-50nm.Mesoprous silica has high specific area.Especially hexagonal type-mesoporous silica(MPS)has the hexagonally-arrayed 1-dimensional pore structure.The MPS may provide quick diffusion in the 1-dimensional pores in spite of its high surface area.Therefore,the MPS is a strong candidate for adsorbent,catalyst reaction field etc.In addition,in the history of research,the materials including phosphoric acid has been reported to show good adsorption property of rare earth metal ion.In this study,MPS is hybridized with phosphoric acid,and is examined for recovery of rare earth metal ions.
