  Poly(L-lactide) (PLLA) is a kind of most promising environmental-friendly thermoplastic that has potential applications in service utensils, packaging materials, appliance components, textiles, films, and biomedical materials[1].In recent years, PLLA nanocomposites have been intensively studied to improve PLLA properties[2].In this research, ruffle-type titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanorods were synthesized and superficially coated by SiO2 (SiO2@TiO2).PLLA/(SiO2@TiO2) nanocomposites were prepared by means of melt blending.The thermal,crystallization, UV-shielding and mechanical properties of PLLA nanocomposites were characterized by TG, DSC,UV-vis, 2D-WAXS and so on.
