Archeological discoveries on the Chengdu Plain reveal that as early as the Shang and Zhou dynasties, ancient Shu people established the ancient Shu Kingdom in Sanxingdui, but earlier or earlier ancient sites such as Bao Dun Culture had emerged. The site of the ancient city in Sanxingdui provided important evidences for us to understand the relationship between Shu and Shang. It shows that the inland Shu was an independent, prosperous and prosperous kingdom at that time. Shang was not the only center of civilization in the Bronze Age. The discovery and comparative study of the ancient sites such as Baodun and other ancient cities shows the different characteristics of the Chinese civilization in the development of different regions.
