  Introduction:Nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)is a common malignancy in southern China and Hong Kong.In Hong Kong during the year 2012,it had an incidence rate of 11.4 per 100,000 and a mortality rate of 4.6 per 100,000,part of the mortality being attributable to life-threatening epistaxis.
