Soil salinity is a major abiotic stress that has a serious influence on seed germination.Studying salinity tolerance mechanism duringseed germination will provide valuable information for engineering plants to enhance salt tolerance.Oilseed from Brassica speciesis an important source of vegetable oil,and most of the Brassica species are moderately salt-tolerant.In the present study,themature and germinating seeds of Brassica napus were investigated under NaCl (0 mM,100 mM,and 200 mM) treatments usingphysiological and proteomic approaches.
