The jack-up drilling platform is a kind of common platform structure for offshore oil and gas exploration. It is flexible and convenient to move and is widely used in offshore oil exploitation. The jack-up drilling platform accidents are mostly related to the foundation, the force loading plug pile test device is designed in the jack-up drilling platform and the device can be achieved in the process of grading ballast. Through different grading ballast, the experimental results show that the ballast velocity has little effect on the ultimate bearing capacity of the jack-up drilling platform. The jetting can effectively reduce the ultimate bearing capacity of the foundation. When the spudcan penetrated into clay shallowly or encountered the formation which has the high risk of punch-through, the jetting can reduce the ultimate bearing capacity of the foundation to achieve safe and reliable penetration.
