Enhancement of hydrogen isotope retention in tungsten due to neutron irradiation is one of the most important issues for a future fusion device. In this study, properties of deuterium retention in recrystallized tungsten samples(10 mm × 10 mm × 1 mm)which were irradiated with 2.4 MeV Cu2+ions have been investigated to understand the influence of neutron irradiation on hydrogen isotope retention in tungsten. The irradiated samples and a non-irradiated one were exposed to the deuterium plasma of which flux and incident energy were 3.7 × 1021 D m-2 s-1 and 30 eV,respectively.
