Yellow-white shoots returned to the green after being shaded in albino tea cultivar,mainly due to the chlorophyll damage,the disintegration of chloroplast structure and the destruction of the photosynthetic system,etc.But the molecular mechanism of yellowing is not yet clear at present.Previous studies have found tea polyphenols accumulated and the small heat shock protein HSP20 expressed significantly after being shaded.On the basis of these results,the study aims to analyze the physiologicalbiochemical characteristic of shaded tea and analyze key processes and genes by using techniques of HPLC-MS,the sequencing of proteome and transcriptome; to screen synthetase genes of the small heat shock protein HSP20 through functional or homologous cloning; using immunocytochemical techniques,to detect the subcellular localization of the small heat shock protein HSP20 ; to validate and screen gene functions by prokaryotic or eukaryotic expression and heterologous model plant expression.This study is designed to verify how the light regulates and controls the accumulation of tea polyphenols,and validate physiological function of the small heat shock proteins HSP20.The work is not only significant in exploring the physiological functions of sHSP20 in shaded albino tea cultivar,but also offers the molecular basis for the tea plant resources of stress resistance.
