A new robust image watermarking scheme with side information in DWT-SVD domain is proposed in this paper.Two kinds of side information are used: the first is a HVS model in DWT domain, and the second is the relationships between coefficients.The HVS model is used to determine the watermark embedding strength to guarantee the perceptual quality of watermarked images, while the relationships between coefficients are utilized to select qualified block pairs to embed watermark In this way, this method improves the robustness against attacks on the premise of guaranteeing the quality of watermarked images.The difference of the selected block pairs is modified to embed watermark.The relationships between coefficients are saved, which is used in the watermark decoding process.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves high perceptual quality of watermarked images and possesses high performance of robustness to a variety of attacks including JPEG compression, noise addition, image filtering, rotation and scaling, etc.
