To investigate the dynamic performance of bridge and vehicle when two trains meeting on a 1092m main span combined highway and railway cable-stayed bridge,the vehicle-track-bridge coupling vibration system is used to study the dynamic response of the bridge under diverse time intervals of train running on the bridge.The computed results show that the time interval of trains running on the bridge has less impact on the dynamic response of the train than that of the bridge.Then the effect of crosswind is taken into consideration to investigate the aerodynamic performance of the bridge and the vehicle using wind-vehicle-track-bridge coupling vibration system.The results indicate that the aerodynamic performance of the bridge under the crosswind is significantly different from the windless condition,and compared with the freight train,the passenger train is more sensitive to the enlargement of wind speed.
