BACKGROUND: Coronary heart disease (CHD), essential hypertension (EH) and diabetes mellitus (DM) were important risk factors for adverse cardiovascular events and dysfunction of autonomic nervous system.Heart rate variability can evaluate the function of autonomic nervous system.This study aimed to evaluate changes of heart rate variability and dysfunction of autonomic nervous system in the elderly with cardiovascular disease risk factors.
