Aim Our aim was to examine the feasibility and safety of a novel endoscopic method for resection of gastric astric submucosal tumors (SMTs).Methods 3 consecutive patients, with gastric SMTs were enrolled in this study.During the procedure, a submucosal tunnel was endoscopically created starting approximately 4 cm proximal to the lesion.After careful submucosal dissection with carbon dioxide insuffiation, the SMTs were completely removed, and the entrance of the tunnel closed using endoclips.
