Due to the shortage of useable fossil energy and deterioration of ecological environment,the development of renewable and environment-firendly energy has become one of the important directions in energy field.Microalgae have been considered the most promising raw materials of biodiesel due to the characteristics of high biomass,high oil content,easily culturing and fast growth.In this paper,a lot of work has been done about screening microalgae from the water samples collected from Daqing.Eight strains of microalgae were isolated from the natural water and preliminarily identified by their morphological characteristics.The growth characteristics and lipid production property of microalgae were compared under autotrophic and heterotrophic conditions.The following results were obtained: strain HD01,identified as Chlorella vulgaris by 18S rDNA analysis,had the highest oil production and productivity in the eight strains of microalgae.
