Figuring out the binding kinetics and thermodynamic of Au(Ⅲ) adsorption onto bacillus subtilis in our previous work, a small amount of AuNPs with different morphologies on the surface of bacillus subtilis was observed.This triggered plentiful subsequent experimental studies on biosyntheses of AuNPs by bacillus subtilis with several AuNPs in different morphologies obtained.
