Colloidal particles, possessing longer relaxation time and larger spatial scale compared with their atomic counterparts, have long been used as model system to study many fundamental problems such as glass transition, crystallization kinetics, gelation etc.In a previous paper1, we have found that the poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPM) microgel is readily adsorptive to the polystyrene (PS) microspheres,and the mixed suspension will go through a liquid-gel-liquid transition with increasing microgel concentration.
