Objective To investigate the feasibility of a individual navigation template,which is made by digital design combined by threedimensional printing technology,in the treatment of femoral head necrosis with vascular pedicled iliac bone grafting.Methods The individual navigation template was made by digital design combined by three dimensional(3D)printing technology.Intotal,15 patients(24 hips)with femoral head necrosis between February to June in 2014(Preoperative Harris Hip Score:56.6±6.98)treated by vascular pedicled iliac bone grafting were retrospectively analyzed.The initial data of Computed Tomography(CT)of thehip was imported into the Mimics software and 3D reconstructed the model of the necrotic part of femoral head.With 3D printingtechnology,the individual navigation template was printed based on the position of the necrotic region.Guided by the template,thenecrotic foci of the femoral head was dissected precisely and completely.Then,iliac lamella with ascending branch of lateralcircumflex femoral artery pedicle was transplanted in the necrotic zone of the femoral heap.All the patients had stayed in bed for 3~6months and the Harris score was evaluated from 6 months postoperatively.
