Over the past few decades,the C-B bond formation has drawn substantial attention in organic synthesis due to the diverse chemical reactivities of boron compounds.Among largely reported methodologies,copper-catalyzed hydroboration reaction is particularly important,because unsaturated substrates and diborons (B2pin2) both involved in this catalytic process.1,2 However,the untilzation of terminal and α-vinyl(pinacolato)borons as substrates in this reaction is still limited Herein,a copper-catalyzed hydroboration of alkynes in aqueous medium is reported.This approach is the first report of regioselective hydroboration of alkynes regiocontrolled by cyclodextrin (CD) derivative and it enables the efficient access to obtain vinyl boronates from simple terminal alkynes.
