Silicon Photomultiplier (SiPM) is a novel photon detector composed of an array of Geiger mode operating avalanche photodiode (APD).It has recently been gained great interest for applications in nuclear molecular imaging,because of its appealing properties of great compactness with high gain (~106),fast response,low current consumption and insensitive to the magnetic field.This study was aimed to design and develop compact readout electronics for the high-resolution detector module with SiPM array.
