Objective Mycoplasma pneumonia is a leading cause of human respiratory tract infectious disease, resulting in pharyngitis, bronchitis, atypical pneumonia, and sometimes, death. Therefore, an early and specific diagnosis is necessary for clinicians to prescribe the correct antibiotic treatment. Most glycolipid antigens used for serological tests of M.pneumoniae can cross-react with other microorganism antigens and body tissues, resulting in false positives.
