Purpose: Lapatinib, a dual tyrosine inhibitor of EGFR and HER2, could effectively inhibit the proliferation of HER2 positive breast cancer cells.However, its poor water solubility restricted its clinical use.Nanoparticles made of human serum albumin (HSA) represent promising strategy for improving water solubility of drugs and targeted drug delivery to tumor cells without any serious side effects.
