Objective: To explore the incidence ofEndolymphatic hydrops by 3D-FLAIR MRI in the contralateral ear in patients with unilateral Ménières disease.Methodology: This was a prospective study.3D-FLAIR MRI was performed with a 3 Tesla (3 T) unit 24 h after intratympanic administration of in 30 unilateral Menieres disease patients with asymptomatic contralateral ear.Pure tone test were performed one day before gadolinium was administered.The incidence of contralateral involvement in unilateral Ménières disease patients and possible correlation between the affected ears and the unaffected ears were analyzed.
