In recent years, transparent oxyfluoride glass-ceramics containing fluoride nanocrystals have aroused great interest for their many particular properties, such as low phonon energy environment for Re3+ ions, good chemical stability compared with fluoride crystals, higher luminescence efficiency than glasses and so on1,2.Thus, they are promising candidates in fields of upconversion laser, white-light illumination, three dimensional display, and optical amplifier.
