A new shock-capturing hydrodynamic modelling framework is presented for urban flood simulation.The software solves the two-dimensional shallow water equations (SWEs) using a first-order accurate Godunov-type shock-capturing scheme coupled with an HLLC approximate Riemann solver for flux evaluation.
