This talk reports the enhancement of electric pulses on the homogeneous precipitation of nano-sized Si particles in Al-1％ Si alloy.Compared with the conventional air furnace treatment, electric pulses for several seconds in air at room temperature dramatically improves the homogeneous nucleation and decreases the particle size of Si phase (5-20 nm).
