Objective.The purpose of our study is to evaluate the demographics,progression of deformity,and effect of brace and surgical treatment,as well as the final outcome of scoliosis in our treated and untreated patients with FA.Background data.There is limited information in regard to the natural history and treatment of scoliosis in patients with FA.Due to the rarity of the condition very little data exists on the course and management of spinal deformity with less than 200 patients reported in the Orthopaedic literature.
