Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) is a common solution for service integrates.Its designed for single instance and the current approach to support expansion is to run multiple instances with the same configuration.Which means you need to keep the multiple instances with the same configure all the time.Since ESB contains multiple parts,its hard to tune the resource usage of each part,which indicates wasteful and inefficient.In this paper,we will show a new way to build ESB with the support of Apache Storm.We will use Mule as the example and show the improvement of this approach when its working with big data and cloud computing.
