Bacterial biofilms can be formed on biotic or abiotic surfaces and their formation will lead to serious environmental and medical problems.It is extremely important to find appropriate antimicrobial agents or approaches with high efficacy to prevent and eradicate biofilms.In this study,three different types of antimicrobial agents of benzalkonium bromide,glutaraldehyde,and sodium hypochlorite were selected to assay their potentially lethal effects on biofilm formation by Citrobacter werkmanii BF-6 and Enterobacter cloacae BF-17 using 96-well micro-plates and crystal violet staining method,respectively.
