At the beginning of the 21 st century, we succeeded in fabricating several hundred nm channels on a glass substrate and also in bonding cover glass, and that was a first extended-nano fluidic device with pressure driven fluid control.This device was introduced in 2002, and it was the first paper reporting the fabricated rectangular extended-nano channels.
