Salinity gradient energy as a potential sustainable energy source has drawn more and more attention in recent decades.Among all techniques to harvest the salinity gradient energy,reverse electrodialysis(RED) is well known for its output of direct electrical current,minimal water transport across membrane,and readily available ion exchange membranes as key components.
